Job Summary

Thelix Holdings is seeking a strategic and process-oriented Head of Operations with strong sales capabilities to drive operational excellence while supporting revenue growth across our portfolio of subsidiaries. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, process optimization, and organizational scalability while maintaining a focused sales approach to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, process improvement, and sales leadership within a multi-business environment. The Head of Operations will report to the CVO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership (60%)

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and processes to drive efficiency and scalability across all Thelix Holdings subsidiaries.
  • Establish standardized operational frameworks and KPIs to measure performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive business growth.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure operational readiness for growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Implement technology solutions to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with subsidiary leaders to identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party partnerships to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead operational risk assessment and mitigation strategies across the organization.
  • Establish business continuity and disaster recovery plans for all subsidiaries.

Sales Leadership (40%)

  • Collaborate with marketing and subsidiary teams to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that align with operational capabilities.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales operations including CRM management, sales analytics, and pipeline reporting.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the Thelix Holdings portfolio.
  • Establish sales performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress against targets.
  • Provide guidance on sales process optimization to enhance conversion rates and customer acquisition.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
  • Build relationships with key clients and strategic partners to support business growth.
  • Align sales forecasting with operational capacity planning to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion potential for existing services.

Strategic Planning and Leadership

  • Translate organizational strategy into operational and sales execution plans.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing insights on operational capabilities and sales performance.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets for operations and sales initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Regularly report on operational and sales performance metrics to executive leadership.
  • Lead and develop teams across operations and sales functions, providing mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and operational optimization across multiple business units.
  • Experience in sales operations and performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management capabilities with experience in implementing large-scale operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a holding company or multi-business environment.
  • Knowledge of the education technology, fintech, career development, or immigration services industries.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, Agile).
  • Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and business intelligence tools.
  • International business operations experience.
